As a repre­sen­ta­ti­ve of the ship­ping indus­try, you make a signi­fi­cant con­tri­bu­ti­on to Switz­er­lan­d’s eco­no­mic added value. Howe­ver, you can only do this within a trans­port poli­cy frame­work that enables you to work eco­no­mic­al­ly. That is why we are stri­ving for a fair and com­pe­ti­ti­on-ori­en­ted mar­ket orga­ni­sa­ti­on wit­hout dis­tor­ti­ons for the rail freight sys­tem. This view beg­ins, for exam­p­le, by brin­ging the con­cerns of logi­stics sites into spa­ti­al plan­ning at com­mu­nal, can­to­nal and fede­ral level – becau­se wit­hout well-con­nec­ted sites, there is no mar­ket access.

Accor­ding to the motto “more incen­ti­ves, less regu­la­ti­on”, we stri­ve for more fle­xi­bi­li­ty, sim­pli­fi­ca­ti­on, stream­li­ning of regu­la­ti­ons and lowe­ring of entry hurd­les for rail freight trans­port. Poli­cy should crea­te incen­ti­ves and ensu­re that entre­pre­neu­ri­al free­dom and oppor­tu­ni­ties are created.

We deal with those natio­nal issues that keep you on the move. In doing so, we take clear posi­ti­ons and give your con­cerns a voice on the poli­ti­cal on the poli­ti­cal stage. In this way, we want to ensu­re that the signals of our indus­try are hee­ded and fol­lo­wed – at natio­nal and Euro­pean level.

In doing so, we always start where our con­cerns are recei­ved, be it with the Fede­ral Coun­cil when it is draf­ting its pro­po­sal, during the con­sul­ta­ti­on in the com­mis­si­ons and in the Coun­cil ple­na­ry, or we explain our needs to the First and Second Councils.
